A metering skid is an essential hybrid mechanical-electronic system designed to precisely measure and control liquid transfers, especially in industries handling hydrocarbons such as fuels and liquefied gases.

Metering skids are composed of four key components:

• a positive displacement meter to measure the liquid volume,
  
  
• a strainer to eliminate particles and dirt from the measured fluid,
  
  
• a flow computer to manage measurements and system parameters,
  
  
• a flow control valve that regulates the liquid flow rate.

ISOIL Impianti recently collaborated with a prominent oil &gas company in Bangladesh, leader in its market, who owns one of the country’s largest private-sector bitumen production plants.

In 2022, they sought ISOIL Impianti’s expertise, through local Partner, to upgrade outdated mechanical systems and implement new electronic metering systems for diesel, naphtha, and fuel oil.

ISOIL Impianti provided custom-designed skid-mounted metering systems tailored to varying flow rates, including:
