Double Case Meters (3’’ – 10’’)

The double case design is based on an outer body completely surrounding the internal body (measuring chamber). The outer body bares the entire pressure difference between the liquid pressure and the ambient pressure, while the internal body – i.e. the measuring chamber – undergoes a negligeable pressure difference. Thanks to this design the meter is almost immune to the effects of pressure variations on the shape of the measuring chamber, and consequently the meter accuracy and repeatability is not affected by the line pressure.
